So it has been a while since my last post but I wanted to show some of what I have made this last year. Below is Dexter and Hattie attacking my quilt pile. They really enjoyed playing on them.
I had trouble getting these pictures in the order that I wanted. Below is one of the quilt racks that my dad made me. Came out nice. He did a good job. Such a good boy!
Here is the 2nd quilt rack I bitched about till he finally gave in and made for me! I am such a burden on him.
My little Japanese wall hanging. I am still quilting it which is why the edges are not done. I picked a really detailed quilting job so it is taking me forever even though it is one of the smallest quilts I have ever made. I am making a 2nd one and will totally change the quilting on that one.
This was a challenge I did for my guild. We had to use the printed fabric with solids. It came out really good but the picture does not really do it justice.
A jungle child quilt. Loved the fabric.
This is my Northwoods quilt. It was a real pain in the back side. And I almost finish it and figure out the pattern was wrong and the borders were all off. Two hours and a lot of cursing later and I got it fixed. I was not happy.
Here is my beach/cottage quilt. I had it all cut out like 2 years ago but did not label it well. Big mistake. Took me quite some time to figure it out but once I did I think it turned out really well.
That is all for now. I hope to have more to show soon. I have a wonderful 3 day weekend and plan to spend at least part of it sewing all sorts of fun stuff. Like tote bags and window valances for my mom.
