4th of July weekend

So I hope that you all had a nice 4th of July weekend. I spent part of the weekend at my parents house, part at my house, and part with my friend Barbro. This is her at her cottage on the lake. There used to be a wall were this nice new counter is. Here is a pic of Barbro proudly baking in her new favorite place......




On Monday the 7th my good friend has her baby girl Ava...here is a picture. It is not too good of one cause just as we got there she started to fuss. I think she was annoyed to have company.....

Here is the quilt I just finished for a friend of mine, only took me a year to get it done...she said she liked it...lets hope that she was being honest and not just nice.

Going to work from home tomorrow, which I love too do. Wish I could twice a week. So nice to be here with all the windows open and some old rerun on TV playing in the background.

Friday I have off and am going back up to that quilting retreat that I went to in Nov of last year. Really looking forward to it and hopefully I can get alot of stuff done. I have some tote bags that I want to finish and need to work on cutting some quilt tops out. We will see what I can get done. That is all for now, will update again soon. Amy
